Effective date: August 25, 2026
These Terms of Use govern use of the LeftOff Chrome extension and the LeftOff website. LeftOff is provided by Daniel Sanchez. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@leftoff.io.
Acceptance And Eligibility
By installing or using LeftOff, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use LeftOff. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf.
What LeftOff Does
LeftOff lets you save a reading position that you choose on a web page and later attempts to restore that position. Saved information is stored locally in your Chrome profile as described in the Privacy Policy.
Restoration is best-effort. A page may change, disappear, block extension functionality, or otherwise prevent LeftOff from returning to the exact text or scroll position.
License And Ownership
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LeftOff for lawful personal or internal business purposes. LeftOff and its branding remain the property of Daniel Sanchez and the applicable licensors. Open-source code included in or made available with LeftOff remains subject to its applicable open-source license.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the pages and text you choose to save and for complying with applicable law and third-party rights. You must not use LeftOff to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, interfere with websites or systems, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorized access.
LeftOff does not claim ownership of text or page information that you save. Your use of third-party websites remains subject to their own terms and policies.
Changes, Availability, And Termination
LeftOff may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. You may stop using LeftOff at any time by uninstalling it. Access may be terminated if you materially violate these Terms or use LeftOff in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk.
Disclaimer Of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeftOff is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daniel Sanchez will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to LeftOff. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of your place of residence. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive participation in a class action where such a right otherwise applies.
Changes To These Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to LeftOff or legal requirements. The effective date above will be updated when the Terms change. Material changes will be disclosed as required by applicable law and Chrome Web Store policy.
